World Activities: Silos, Monoliths & Where the Loot Is

The map is full of activities that pay out gear, mods, and points. Here's what's worth your time.

Updated July 21, 2026

Roaming the map isn’t aimless in Once Human. The world is dotted with activities that fund your whole progression. These are the big ones.

Securement Silos

Silos are compact dungeon runs inside forbidden zones. They’re dangerous, but the payout is the point: mods, Energy Links, materials, and Tech Points. Rule of thumb: clear every room on your first run of each Silo, don’t rush the boss and leave loot behind.

Monoliths and Great Ones

Monoliths are the big boss encounters of a region. They gate serious rewards and Tech Points, and they’re built for groups. Bring your best calibrated weapon, healing items, and ideally a combat Deviant.

Elites and world bosses

Named elites and overworld bosses respawn and drop meaningful loot plus points. Learn a couple of routes near your base and make them part of your session.

Everything else on the map

Chests, deviation captures, and zone events add up: blueprints, materials, and Deviants you won’t get sitting at base. If you see an icon you don’t recognize, go poke it. That curiosity is literally the progression loop.
